Partnerships

As discussed in Alberta Education’s document on the Teacher Quality Standards, an effective teacher establishs and maintains partnerships among School, Home and Community, and within their own Schools.

I believe that I have worked diligently to meet the descriptors in this section by;

Consistently ensuring that my interactions with students and Residential staff are professional and effective.

Working diligently in building an effective relationship with Bosco Homes, where none previously existed.

Remaining open to communication with colleagues, Bosco Homes staff and administration to create a collaborative learning environment.

Being reflective and constantly seeking to improve my professional practice through collaboration with colleaguesm, research and in-servicing.

Being an outgoing, conscientious individual and actively seeking and making connections beyond my immediate school
